WNBA player Natasha Cloud criticizes Trump's Easter Sunday threat of bombing Iran

WNBA Champion Critiques Trump Over Easter Message

On Sunday, WNBA champion Natasha Cloud expressed her disapproval of President Donald Trump’s stern remarks regarding Iran, which he made on Easter morning.

In a series of posts, Cloud addressed her criticisms directly. She emphasized that the current president, who asserts he is a “God-fearing man,” does not align with Christ-like values, especially after tweeting about attacking Iranian infrastructure on such a significant day.

“Jesus was not obedient to the laws of governing authorities, as their laws do not reflect God’s law,” she noted, highlighting a crucial aspect that often gets overlooked.

Cloud also pointed out how terrorism is defined in U.S. law, which characterizes it as the unlawful use of force or violence aimed at intimidating or coercing governments or civilians for political or social goals.

Previously, Cloud has criticized the Trump administration’s utilization of ICE agents. Notable was her earlier dispute with former NBA player Enes Kantor Freedom after he labeled the United States as “trash.”

In his own remarks, President Trump cautioned Iran that military action could be taken against its power plants and bridges if the Strait of Hormuz isn’t reopened. He declared on Truth Social, “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day and Bridge Day rolled into one in Iran.” He urged, “Open the straits, you crazy bastards, or you will live in hell – look! Praise be to Allah.”

An update from Trump regarding U.S. military operations in Iran is anticipated shortly. He commented that the war is “close to completion,” suggesting that the upcoming deadline could influence whether tensions escalate or de-escalate.
