Workers and Mothers Advocate for Major Bill in Washington
People from various industries, along with mothers nationwide, are pushing for the approval of a significant bill, highlighted in a recent White House video secured by Breitbart News.
The video includes testimonies from individuals in fields such as automobile, energy, trucking, and nursing, alongside mothers who stand to benefit from the proposed legislation. This bill aims to cut taxes, eliminate taxes on tips and overtime, reduce social security taxes for middle-class seniors, and introduce additional measures focused on border security.
Featured in the video were everyday Americans who gathered with President Trump at the White House on Thursday to rally support for the bill’s passage in the Senate.
Donna Boyd, a nurse practitioner from Bath, North Carolina, commented on the positive impact of removing overtime taxes for nurses. She noted, “As nurses, we pick up a lot of overtime. I think this will bring substantial money back into nurses’ pockets across America.”
Kris Cranford, working with Deep Well Services in the oil sector, echoed similar sentiments, explaining that the burdens of overtime taxes are significant in the oil industry. “Overtime taxes can be quite hefty for oil fields,” he remarked.
The elimination of overtime taxes is one of the key promises associated with Trump’s campaign, and this bill aims to deliver on that pledge.
James Benson, an autowalker from Canton, Michigan, also shared supporting views. Angelina, known as a “Mombassador,” expressed how the bill’s updated tax credits had previously been a “real lifeline” for her family. “I’m glad to be here supporting the President and his administration. I hope others will join in,” she added.
Another mother, Teresa Thompson from New Jersey, mentioned how the legislation would positively affect her family. “This big beautiful bill means a lot to us, especially as a mother to a 32-year-old son with special needs,” she stated.
Dee, with three years of experience in the trucking industry, advocated for the bill, saying, “When the economy is thriving, it benefits us all.”
Before Thursday’s event, Breitbart News received comments from other supporters, including Mariki Kriesky, a Doordash driver, who expressed enthusiasm about the proposed TIPS tax framework. “As a mom and small business owner, every dollar matters. I deliver for Doordash to support my son, who has type 1 diabetes,” she said.
The proposed bill also seeks to enhance border security, including completing Trump’s border wall and allocating federal resources for the removal of at least one million individuals, according to White House statements.
Pam Free, a resident of Arizona, shared her concerns over the current immigration policies under President Biden. “As someone living in a border state, my family has witnessed the troubling outcomes of these policies over the past four years,” she remarked. “As a grandmother of five, I wish for a strong country that prioritizes its citizens and ensures sensible border protections for their safety,” she added.
