World Leaders React in Shock, Dismay at Attempt on Donald Trump’s Life

World leaders reacted with shock and dismay to the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

The shooting left one bystander dead and two others seriously injured, Breitbart News reported.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Said He said Sunday he was “appalled by the shocking scenes” at the rally.

“Political violence in any form has no place in our society,” the prime minister said.

Nigel Farage, the newly elected Reform Party MP and a close ally of Trump, said: “The mainstream media is perpetuating a narrative of hate against my friend, President Donald Trump.”

“I hope they’re proud of themselves. Terrible people.”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban spoke of “these dark hours” and offered his “thoughts and prayers” to Trump, AFP reported. Reports.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said he was “following with anxiety” the latest developments from Pennsylvania, and wished Trump a speedy recovery.

She expressed hope that “dialogue and responsibility can prevail over hatred and violence in the coming months of the campaign,” AFP reported.

European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell condemned the attack.

“We are once again witnessing unacceptable acts of violence against political representatives,” the EU’s top diplomat said.

A similar sentiment of outrage over the assassination attempt on President Trump was equally clear across the Americas, AFP reported.

After the assassination attempt, Argentine President Javier Milley blamed the “international left.”

“After losing the elections, they panic and resort to terrorism to impose their backward-looking and authoritarian policies,” the populist president said.

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said the shooting “must be strongly condemned by all defenders of democracy and political dialogue.”

The Costa Rican government condemned the attack and said it was following up on “this unacceptable act.”

“As leaders of democracy and peace, we reject all forms of violence,” the presidential office said.

Chilean President Gabriel Boric said he “completely condemns” the shooting.

“Violence is a threat to democracy and undermines our common life. We must all reject violence,” Bolick said.

Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed his “sympathy and sympathy” for Trump after the assassination attempt.

“China is closely monitoring the situation surrounding the shooting incident involving former President Donald Trump,” a Chinese foreign ministry spokesman said in a statement.

“I am deeply concerned by the attack on my friend, former President Donald Trump. I strongly condemn this incident. Violence has no place in politics or in our democracy. I wish him a speedy recovery.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who died, those injured, and the American people.”
