'Worse Than Death': Dave Portnoy States That the Fantasy League Loser Will Have to Read Kamala's Book

Fantasy Football League Punishment Involves Kamala Harris’s Book

Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports, announced on Monday that whoever finishes last in the Fantasy Football League will be required to present about Kamala Harris’s upcoming book. This book focuses on her presidential campaign for 2024 and is set to be released in September.

On the show “Varney & Co.,” host Stuart Varney shared a clip featuring Barstool sports blogger Jack Mac, detailing what the consequences would be for the league’s final player. “If you end up in last place, you’ll be confined to a room without your phone until you finish reading every page of Kamala Harris’s new book. Then, you’ll present your thoughts to the entire league,” Varney explained.

“You think you’ll do that? It’s a pretty harsh punishment, don’t you think?” Varney chuckled as he asked Portnoy. In response, Portnoy laughed and said, “Some might argue that there’s no worse fate than death, but I think this takes the cake. Yeah, this is a rough one.”

Harris, during her time as Vice President, was known for delivering what some called “word salad” in her responses. She took an oath of loyalty while overseeing the Senate in January, which was among her last duties in that role.

On Thursday, she appeared on CBS’s “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” to promote her book but stumbled when pressed for details. Additionally, she shared a TikTok video that didn’t quite resonate with current trends, which drew some attention.

In October 2024, CBS is expected to air an interview segment from “60 Minutes” that compiled various responses she gave. This comes amidst other news, including CBS settling a $10 billion lawsuit with Donald Trump in July, despite opposing the settlement.
