WWE Stars Share Encounter with Upset Bystander
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, both prominent figures in WWE, recounted a peculiar and somewhat unsettling experience while driving a Tesla Cybertruck in Los Angeles. They appeared on a recent episode of the show “Something’s on fire,” hosted by comedian Bert Kreischer.
During the discussion, Rollins noted that driving a Cybertruck in LA seems to attract negativity. He mentioned, “I have a black Cybertruck, and in LA it’s like the enemy.” Despite owning a couple of other Teslas, he feels that their presence in the city isn’t appreciated. He expressed his genuine interest in electric vehicles, despite recent controversies surrounding Elon Musk.
Lynch chimed in, stating they are “friends of the environment” but not necessarily supporters of Musk. She shared a story about an encounter while she was driving her daughter to school. Rollins was in the car as well, and they noticed a man walking his dog on the sidewalk. Suddenly, the man raised his middle finger at them, which caught them off guard. “Just keep driving,” she recalled saying, surprised by the whole situation.
Rollins, feeling compelled to react, stopped the car, got out, and confronted the man. “I was like, ‘I don’t know who these people are. I’m just trying to get my daughter to school.'” After a brief exchange, the man clarified that his gesture was directed at the vehicle, not them personally.
This incident comes in the wake of criticisms directed at Tesla, particularly after Musk’s alignment with political figures. Earlier this year, tensions escalated, leading to protests and violent episodes at Tesla dealerships worldwide.
Rollins himself recently faced some time off due to an injury, while Lynch is set to participate in an upcoming Women’s War Games match after losing her championship title.
