Former President Donald Trump released an ad on his X account on Monday, emphasizing his pro-American image while sending a message of courage.
The ad, which was released on Monday afternoon and has had more than eight million views as of press time, sees the former president speaking alongside a montage of supporters from across the political spectrum.
“Remember, nothing worth doing is ever easy,” Trump says in the ad. “It’s going to be hard. You have to love what you do. If you don’t, do something else.”
The ad then reinforces the message of perseverance by telling people they will have to face “criticism from those who lack the courage”.

The ad came out just hours after the former president returned to X after a three-year hiatus. According to Breitbart News:
Former President Donald Trump took out an ad on “X,” the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, early Monday ahead of his evening interview with Elon Musk.
“Are you better off today than you were when I was president,” Trump wrote in a posting that included a minute-long ad featuring President Ronald Reagan. “Our economy is collapsing, our borders are gone, our country is in decline.”
“Let’s make the American Dream affordable again. Let’s make America safe again. Let’s make America great again!” Trump added, adding the hashtag “#TrumpOnX.”
The ad was released ahead of Trump’s scheduled Twitter interview with billionaire Elon Musk.
