Community Flyer Encourages Actions Against ICE in Minneapolis

A flyer circulating in Minneapolis promotes the message: “You can fight ICE.” It reassures residents that doing so comes without risk. Shared by the left-leaning Twitter account Minneapolis Spring, the flyer insists that there are “no excuses” for harming or harassing federal agents.

The document encourages actions like “over-tightening the lug nuts” and “unplugging the spark plug,” emphasizing that residents have the right to make mistakes in these endeavors.

The flyer goes on to mention issues like lost documents, poorly prepared meals, and serving decaf coffee instead of regular. “It all adds up,” the message insists, demanding action with the phrase, “No more excuses. Just do it.”

This account has a history of encouraging anti-ICE protests, suggesting that supporters construct blockades, report ICE movements, and actively protect their neighborhoods. After a police operation dismantled one of the blockades, reporter Jorge Ventura from the Daily Caller News Foundation investigated. He noted that the police had worked with ICE to clear community protections.

He later reported that the police “rolled up pretty heavily” and confiscated barricade materials. The Minneapolis Spring account reacted by stating, “They want to demoralize us,” while asserting that it requires minimal effort to re-establish blockades.

In another post, anti-ICE demonstrators were shown randomly stopping vehicles to check license plates, presumably to identify those associated with ICE activities before moving on.
