Socialism Research Project in NYC

An 11-year-old with socialist views sparking some interesting conversations. It’s intriguing to think about New York, a city that has been a financial hub since around 1624. Some might wonder if that capitalism feels a bit disconnected from, well, what really matters. And then there’s this progressive left angle that seems to favor police cuts and, well, behaviors we often find troubling—all while drawing from the very roots of New York’s wealth.

So, there’s this guy, let’s call him Mumdam. He’s a real VIP—trust me on this. Apparently, he’s leaning toward supporting our current mayor, which could mean something good for Eric Adams. Curious, right?

Women’s Justice Will Rule Again

Judge Judy is still a force to reckon with. She’s got her creative touch on multiple platforms now and her series “Justice on Trial” is making its debut on Prime Video with eight episodes starting July 21st.

“Look,” she mentioned, “Judges are human. We all make mistakes sometimes. It can take ages to correct those errors. Reflecting on some cases, I still find myself haunted by certain stories, especially in quiet moments.”

“The outcome might be swayed by memories, emotions—there are so many factors. Lawyers, officers, maybe even snippets of news or hurried notes.”

When I asked if she was directly involved, she replied, “No, I produced it. There are three judges for the cases.”

If Appropriate

A letter writer has shared some thoughts on a gay man raised in a progressive NYC family, worried about being seen as “progressive enough” at Rutgers Law School without disclosing his name.

“People are quick to blame the Western world. It’s almost like half the day is spent merely ranting. The focus strays from actual laws to throwing around terms like colonialism and capitalism.”

Respectful Glove

If you’re curious about where our local dining scene takes some notable figures at night, check out Primora on 64th and 2nd. The pasta there is something to write home about. I often snap photos with the staff, feeling a bit clumsy as I weave through the busy restaurant, where Italian is the language of choice. How do I know? Because I’ve been there to see it myself.

Rolling Stone

Sharon Stone recently joked about aging: “I stay positive all day. I can’t say otherwise.” She humorously mused about the extremes she might go to just to feel good about aging: “If I need to sleep hanging upside down to look younger, maybe I’ll just spin a tale about my age!”

Ah, I’ve meandered back to Scrandani for a bit. Diplomats—whatever roles they choose to play seem wrapped in silence.

What is it about this country and its children? Only in the U.S. does this seem to ring true.
