I want to give Zuckerberg the benefit of the doubt. There’s a decent chance he was not actually making eyes at Sanchez’s chest region. Maybe someone was reaching for a handshake behind her. Maybe he was acknowledging an inside joke with another inauguration guest, and he just glanced at the ground for a split moment. Maybe the angles are off here. Who knows.
But at the same time, it’s crucial when you are in public that your eye game never strays and never fails. You don’t even want to give your enemies or your woman an inkling of suspicion that you were leering at someone else.
When you are a taken man, whether you are married or have a girlfriend, you need to keep your eyes in check. Getting caught checking out another woman when you are in the presence of your own woman is a huge no-no. It just can’t happen. You need to be constantly vigilant and maintain your willpower at all times.
Whether he meant it or not, Zuckerberg’s eye game strayed. And he’s paying the price.
