San Diego Sector Border Patrol agents have reportedly arrested three suspected Palestinian terrorists who illegally crossed the border between ports of entry. The suspected terrorists reportedly illegally crossed the Mexican border into California.

A source at U.S. Customs and Border Protection told Breitbart Texas that he could not confirm the report but that it was “likely.” Information about special interest aliens (SIAs) is not typically released outside the department that originated the report, which is sent to higher headquarters.
Another source told Breitbart that the report is “highly likely” because San Diego Sector investigators have made numerous SIA arrests.
Sources believe the SIAs are being sent to California checkpoints as Del Rio Sector agents work with the FBI to begin additional background checks. Sources said they don’t believe the California sector currently conducts this level of vetting.
“These border crossings have been extremely dangerous since this whole thing started and the current administration doesn’t seem to care about that at all,” the source added.

The four migrants, suspected of having ties to terrorist groups, were transferred from Border Patrol custody to a joint Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)/FBI terrorism task force for further investigation.
In April, Breitbart Texas’ Randy Clark reported on an increase in SIA arrests along the southern U.S. border with Mexico.
“In the first six months of fiscal year 2024, which began in October, approximately 25,000 immigrants from special interest nations in the Middle East, Asia and Africa were apprehended attempting to enter the United States, according to a Department of Homeland Security report reviewed by Breitbart Texas,” Clark reported.
According to the most recent data available from CBP, Border Patrol agents encountered 375 migrants who crossed the border illegally and were later found in Terrorist Screening Dataset reports during the four years of the Biden-Harris administration (Fiscal Years 21-24).
During the comparable period under the Trump administration (FY2017-FY20), 11 immigrants were identified as falling into this category.
These encounters aren’t unique to the US-Mexico border: Breitbart Texas reports that authorities in the Swanton area have made record-breaking arrests of migrants from 85 countries, according to a social media post from Patrol Chief Robert Garcia.
The list of countries includes immigrants from Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Anguilla, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Congo, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, El Salvador, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Guinea, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Hungary, India, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Liberia, Lithuania, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Romania and Russia. Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Sweden, Syria, Taiwan, Togo, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam, Zimbabwe.
Many of these countries include those with direct ties to terrorism.
