Trump Jr. Posts Meme Referencing OJ Simpson Chase
On Monday, Donald Trump Jr. shared a meme that drew inspiration from the notorious OJ Simpson police chase.
This post came in the wake of a significant revelation made by the Director of National Intelligence last Friday, indicating that officials from the Obama administration allegedly fabricated a “Russian Conspiracy” narrative following Trump’s victory in the 2016 election.
New claims emerging from the document suggest that Obama officials have contradicted existing intelligence assessments, which indicated that Russia had not significantly interfered in the 2016 election, and have created a revised evaluation suggesting otherwise.
The meme, originating from the June 17, 1994 chase, features a composed Obama at the helm of Simpson’s white Ford Bronco. Trump appears on one of the police vehicles pursuing him, while a large image of Vice President JD Vance’s face is seen in another police car trailing behind the former president.
Along with the meme, Trump Jr. included three laughing emojis.
This followed a post from Donald Trump on Sunday, which showcased a video of him and Obama together in the Oval Office, ultimately culminating in him “arresting” Obama at a signal from Trump, with the rally staple “YMCA” playing in the background amid a fictional unrest involving Obama.
The clip opens with Obama asserting, “No one, especially the president, is beyond the law,” followed by footage of other prominent Democrats echoing similar sentiments.
Additionally, Trump shared a meme showcasing Obama alongside former FBI Director James Comey, former DNI Director James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, and five other officials from Obama’s administration. Everyone, except Obama, is depicted in orange prison-style jumpsuits with a play on words referencing the hit TV show, The Brady Bunch, titled “The Shady Bunch” at the center of the meme.
