Sofía Vergara’s Health Update
Sofía Vergara recently shared some health news with her followers. The 53-year-old actress, known for her role in “Modern Family,” posted a photo from her hospital bed on Instagram on July 25th. She revealed that she had undergone a second knee surgery, though she didn’t specify the reasons for it.
“That’s done! Round 2🙏🏼❤️❤️,” Vergara wrote in her caption.
In one of the images, she appeared in a hospital gown, looking cheerful as she rested her cheek on her hand. The second photo showed her right leg bandaged and supported by braces, indicating the seriousness of her procedure.
A number of her celebrity friends expressed their support in the comments section. Terry Crews, her fellow cast member from “America’s Got Talent,” reached out, and Lauren Sanchez Bezos left a note as well. Patrick Schwarzenegger chimed in with a message wishing her a quick recovery.
This isn’t the first time Vergara has had to undergo knee surgery; she had previously shared an update with her fans back in April 2024, assuring them that she was in good hands during her recovery.
Reflecting on her past experiences, Vergara humorously advised, “If you get [major] knee surgery, make sure you get a handsome doctor to sleep with you that night!”—a nod to her then-boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
Following Saliman, rumors of a budding romance between Vergara and retired football star Tom Brady have surfaced. The two were seen together on a yacht in Europe, raising eyebrows and sparking speculation about their relationship.
They reportedly spent time in Ibiza, Spain, which some sources described as a “summer romance.” One insider noted, “He asked me to sit next to her at dinner and switch seats,” suggesting a closer connection.
