Super PAC Targets Rep. Thomas Massey with New Ad
A Super PAC named Maga Kentucky has recently launched an advertisement aimed at Rep. Thomas Massey (R-KY). This comes after President Donald Trump expressed his support for Massey during the primaries.
The group criticized Massey for his vote against a settlement bill, labeling him as someone who sided with Democrats—highlighting an image of a prominent Democratic leader. This information surfaced on Tuesday.
A narrator in the advertisement questioned, “Who is Thomas Massey fighting for?” They suggested that it no longer aligns with citizens like single mothers, police officers, or seniors reliant on Social Security. The narrator noted President Trump’s efforts to pass tax cuts for the working class, implying that Massey’s “no” vote aligned him with Democrats. The ad concluded with a call to “fire Thomas Massey.”

Back in March, Trump had stated that he would “lead the charge” against Massey after voicing opposition to a Republican resolution.
Later, Trump criticized Massey again for his stance against a U.S. military action aimed at Iran’s nuclear capabilities, according to reports.
In a post about True Society, Trump mentioned that “Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massey doesn’t identify as part of Maga, and in fact, Maga doesn’t want him or respect him.”
Additionally, in June, Massie proposed bipartisan legislation to limit Trump’s authority regarding U.S. involvement in the Israeli-Iran conflict.
The article highlighted that Massey was one of only two House Republicans who opposed the recent Continuing Budget Bill, with concerns that it wouldn’t sufficiently address national debt. The other Republican opposing the bill was Rep. Warren Davidson from Ohio.
A recent report indicated that the group behind these ads is led by Li, who heads Trump’s political operations, along with Chris Lacivita, his former co-campaign manager, and pollster Tony Fabrizio. They have received a significant financial boost, including a $2 million donation from a Super PAC partnership with major Republican donors, amounting to a total of $1.5 million in funds.
A post on social media featured Massey’s campaign, claiming that Maga Kentucky is backed by three billionaires.
Reports suggest that the ads from Maga Kentucky are often in response to Massey’s recent promotional content. In one of his own tweets, he remarked, “They are attacking me because they answer to the Washington machines.”
