Christian Woman Shares Marriage Struggles on TikTok

A TikTok video featuring a Christian woman named Kamille Wight has gone viral as she expressed her desire to divorce her “perfect” husband.

Earlier this year, she candidly shared, “I told my husband I wanted a divorce. It feels like we didn’t have anything in our relationship before we got married.”

Wight emphasized her feelings for her husband, stating, “It’s not that I don’t love him. Let’s be clear; he’s incredibly disciplined, loyal, hardworking, and a genuinely good person. That might actually be why I haven’t left.”

She went on to elaborate that her expectations were not being met and she felt she couldn’t fully express herself around him.

In her video, she sought advice, questioning how she might be able to salvage her marriage.

In response, BlazeTV host Ally Beth Stucky noted, “It’s not surprising you’re struggling with this. God has a lot to say about the reasoning you’re laying out here.”

Stucky criticized the idea of airing grievances publicly, urging more respect for the sanctity of marriage and privacy. She further stated, “Marriage is meant to be lifelong. Divorce should only happen under extreme circumstances.” Additionally, she highlighted that one’s personal happiness shouldn’t come at the expense of a child’s emotional well-being.

Finally, Stucky cautioned about misleading feelings, quoting, “Our hearts can’t be trusted,” referring to Biblical wisdom in Jeremiah 17:9, and encouraged Wight to seek help from her community and church.
