A Democrat’s mantra has been “Nobody is above the law” as they have relentlessly aimed to undermine Donald Trump’s presidency and prevent another term.
They’ve thrown everything at him, labeling him a puppet of Russia, manipulating governmental agencies against him. This included some of the harshest prosecutors, attempting to bankrupt him while damaging his reputation at every turn.
Had it not been for the two assassination attempts, there might have been less chaos. But for those targeting Trump, things haven’t panned out as they hoped. Their approach has deeply harmed their own party and damaged the credibility of supporting media outlets.
As the saying goes, if you challenge the king, expect consequences.
Calls for accountability remain persistent.
“Illegal President”
Recently, Attorney General Pam Bondi assigned attorney Ed Martin, along with New York AG Leticia James and California Sen. Adam Schiff, to investigate potential claims of mortgage and wire fraud that could lead to significant prison time.
Judges in Virginia and Maryland are currently deliberating on charges against two Democrats linked to Trump, focusing on allegations of altered property records to secure beneficial loan agreements.
Additionally, a U.S. attorney in Albany has reportedly served a subpoena in a civil rights inquiry involving James.
James has made numerous lawsuits against Trump, his family, and his business, pledging to challenge what she deemed his illegitimacy.
Schiff, in his role as chair of the House Intelligence Committee, allegedly misused his authority to create misleading narratives about Trump’s supposed ties to Russia and Ukraine.
He was one of the most vocal opponents of Trump, frequently asserting that “no one is above the law.” Now, he seems to be on the receiving end of that same doctrine.
Meanwhile, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard has been diligently acquiring and declassifying documents, pushing against the resistance within intelligence agencies, hoping to shed light on the Russiagate controversy and President Obama’s alleged role in it.
We know that on December 9, 2016, Obama directed his national security team, including key intelligence figures.
According to Gabbard, these documents weave together a clear narrative, showing a timeline that questions the actions of Obama and his administration post-election. She claims that the narrative surrounding Trump’s election victory was merely a facade to delegitimize his presidency.
Gabbard warns that to prevent future injustices, accountability is essential. She stated that her findings would be reported to the Justice Department for possible criminal referrals.
Bondi’s Strike Force Team aims to ensure accountability, revealing those involved in what Gabbard calls a manufactured crisis. She emphasizes the necessity of punishment to deter future misconduct, asserting that leniency only encourages further wrongdoing.
“I’ll lock her up!”
Despite Trump being portrayed as vengeful, he has shown a surprising degree of restraint. In 2016, his supporters chanted for his opponent Hillary Clinton to be locked up, but Trump has expressed reluctance to pursue charges against her.
He stated that though he beat Clinton politically, calling for her imprisonment felt inappropriate, especially given her background as a former First Lady and Secretary of State.
Trump honored Clinton’s mercy because he wanted the country to heal after the previous administration’s actions. However, he admitted to feeling a bit of anger due to the continual attacks he faced.
He acknowledges the wrongdoings of those like Brennan and Clapper, calling their actions unnecessary and damaging, despite having a strong start in his presidency.
Now, the current administration emphasizes the need for a firm response to maintain public faith in national security agencies. They’re taking measures to identify and hold accountable those involved in fraudulent activities.
In the end, some of those orchestrating these controversies may end up facing the law. There’s a sense that justice might finally catch up.
