Trump Reveals New Critique of Joe Biden’s Autopen in the Oval Office

Trump’s “Wall of Fame” in the Rose Garden

In an interview with Daily Caller, former President Donald Trump shared that he’s created a “wall of presidency” in the Rose Garden, featuring a portrait he humorously referred to as the “Biden Autopen.”

During an hour-long discussion on Friday, Trump guided reporter Reagan Lease through the Rose Garden, showcasing the ongoing renovations. As he displayed various presidential portraits, he mentioned that he plans to hang an image of Biden’s autopen between his own presidential portraits.

This comes after House Republicans investigated the use of autopens by the Biden administration. In a previous statement to the New York Times, Trump acknowledged that he had recommended this practice to his staff towards the end of his term.

Here’s a snippet from the interview:

Trump: “Look at what they’re doing outside. Stand up a beautiful mirror. Did you see the mirror there?”

Lease: “I’m not, no.”

Trump: “We’re what we’re calling the President’s Wall of Fame.”

Lease: “Ah, yes, I think I saw this.”

Trump: “Now, do you want to go see it?”

Lease: “Yes, let’s go and see it.”

As they walked out of the Oval Office to the Rose Garden, music played on the White House speakers.

After returning to the Oval Office, Lease brought up the ballroom: “Your Ballroom, President Trump, do you name it after you?”

Trump responded, questioning who it was named after before admitting, “Ah, well, I’m the one who names it. I hate it – I make my own money and donations. There is no government money.”

They continued discussing various rooms, and Trump expressed interest in showing Lease Lincoln’s bedroom. “We have to take her to Lincoln’s bedroom and show it,” he said.

Later, they reviewed frames around the presidential portraits. “Isn’t it unbelievable?” Trump remarked, to which Lease commented about her fondness for gold frames.

Trump then referenced placing a portrait of Biden too, saying, “That’s not an interesting question.” After Lease insisted she was interested, he mentioned having posted a photo of the autopen.

Trump narrated how Biden “didn’t win the race,” bringing up an incident where Biden claimed he has “nine stages of cancer.” Lease then recalled that they had been together on the golf course that day. Trump expressed disbelief, noting that he had never heard of anything beyond stage four cancer.

“Especially Stage 9. Is that what happens?” Trump asked, while Lease questioned why they hadn’t known about it sooner.

As they reviewed what the “Biden Autopen” portrait would look like, Trump asked for Lease’s opinion, and she replied, “I think you did it.” He noted it needed to be done, calling the project interesting.

Throughout their conversation, Trump also touched on pardons he made, including one for his son, Hunter Biden, highlighting his involvement in issuing notable pardons.
