Trump claims Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Xi Jinping are working together against the US during their gathering at a military parade in China

Trump’s Accusations at Beijing Military Parade

On Tuesday, President Trump accused leaders from China, Russia, and North Korea of plotting against the United States during a military parade in Beijing.

As the extensive event unfolded in Tiananmen Square, Trump shared his sentiments on social media, congratulating President Xi and the people of China. He expressed hope for Xi to acknowledge America’s contributions during World War II.

In a rather intriguing comment, he mentioned his connections to Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un, suggesting an ongoing conspiracy among them. This statement came as these leaders were among the many attending what was the largest military parade China has ever hosted.

As Putin and Kim made their grand entrance, China’s Communist Party leaders seemed to be caught up in the spectacle, which featured aerial displays, marching contingents, and parades of tanks and missiles.

In his post, Trump raised a critical question about whether Xi would recognize the significant support the U.S. has extended to China over the years. “Many Americans have died in China’s quest for victory,” he noted, adding a wish that their sacrifices would be honored.

While the president’s remarks unfolded, his administration continued to work on a long-term trade agreement with China. Earlier this month, he signed an executive order that extended a tariff suspension for another 90 days, allowing for continued negotiations.

This order keeps existing tariffs on Chinese imports – which currently stand at 30% but have seen dramatic increases – from rising further. China’s tariffs on American goods remain unchanged as discussions between the nations continue.

At the same time, Trump has been directing military actions impacting civilians in Ukraine and is just on the verge of brokering an end to the ongoing conflict with Russia. Notably, Putin has shown reluctance to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during these talks.
