Celebration Planned for Charlie Kirk’s Life and Legacy

Turning Point USA announced on Saturday a significant public ceremony to honor founder Charlie Kirk next weekend, celebrating the life of what they call an “American legend.”

Titled “Building a Legacy that Remembers Charlie Kirk,” the event will take place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the home ground of the NFL’s Arizona Cardinals. This venue can accommodate approximately 63,400 attendees, and may expand to 73,000 for larger events, as noted on its website.

Former President Donald Trump has confirmed his attendance at the ceremony in Arizona.

“Please join us in celebrating the incredible life and enduring legacy of Charlie Kirk,” Turning Point USA shared on social media. “We’ll gather on Sunday morning, September 21st, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.”

The doors will open at 8 AM local time, with festivities set to begin at 11 AM. An online registration is available for those interested, with limited capacity, as it looks like the event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

After Kirk’s tragic death, there’s been a wave of tributes highlighting his faith, family, and commitment to the future of America. He founded Turning Point USA at just 18 years old, starting in a garage in Lemont, Illinois, ultimately transforming it into a major grassroots movement.

“Charlie died doing what he loved. He fought for truth, faith, family, and freedom. His sacrifices will continue to inspire future generations,” a tribute stated. “He taught us the importance of standing up for the truth and the necessity of protecting freedom at all costs.”

Charlie Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at an event on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem. He was 31 years old when he was rushed to Timpanogos Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The tribute further emphasized, “His legacy will endure for generations.” Kirk is celebrated for his impactful work and is remembered by many across various memorials nationally and internationally.

As of now, neither Turning Point USA nor the White House have responded to requests for comments regarding the event.
