Kid Rock slams mainstream media as 'madhouses' following Kirk murder

Kid Rock, known for his performances at former Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump’s inaugurations, has voiced strong criticism of the mainstream media. He referred to them as “nussaus” following the assassination of Charlie Kirk during an appearance on “Jesse Watters Primetime.”

He stated, “Mainstream media is currently flicking the number one enemy,” suggesting the media’s role in fueling tensions. This comment comes amid a national conversation regarding the violent act against Kirk and the motives behind it, particularly focusing on the suspect, Tyler Robinson.

Meanwhile, Democratic representatives like Jasmine Crockett have defended inflammatory rhetoric aimed at Trump, with Kid Rock pushing back on the media’s portrayal of Kirk and the reactions to his murder.

“They’ve called me a racist Nazi for years,” Kid Rock remarked, reflecting on how attacks on him and others have evolved. He expressed frustration at having to sift through the negativity and, at times, dismissive comments about his music.

In discussing the broader implications of media narratives, he suggested that the echo chamber created by journalism could lead to dangerous consequences. “While I get that not everyone on the left is unhinged, there are plenty of media figures and individuals who seem, well, out there,” he said.

Kid Rock further alleged that liberal responses to Kirk’s assassination were disproportionate, suggesting that there’s a pattern of celebrating violence in political circles. He emphasized a need for mutual respect among differing viewpoints, lamenting that there doesn’t seem to be an openness for dialogue.

On a related note, Donald Trump Jr. has echoed concerns about political violence not being reciprocal, hinting at the troubling nature of current political clashes.

As the conversation continues, Kid Rock cautioned those who might celebrate such violent acts: “You keep it up, and you’re going to bump into the wrong people,” he warned, hinting at the unpredictable and potentially volatile repercussions that could arise from these actions.
