Commuter pushes an elderly woman off a bus in unsettling footage

A shocking incident unfolded on a Boston bus when a commuter was recorded violently pushing an elderly woman out of the vehicle. Following the release of this video, the suspect was arrested while remaining confrontational on the sidewalk.

Published by MBTA Traffic Police on Wednesday night, the announcement confirmed that detectives arrested the individual involved in this troubling incident, which occurred on September 8 in Roxbury, Massachusetts.

The confrontation took place around 1 PM at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Warren Street, just three miles from Fenway Park.

Security footage from inside the bus revealed the suspect aggressively directing the elderly woman towards the open door, where she was clinging on for dear life.

Onlookers were horrified as the suspect delivered a second shove, forcing the elderly woman out and causing her to fall onto the hard concrete below.

Paramedics took approximately 20 minutes to tend to the victim, who was remarkably helped by the bus driver, as reported by WHDH.

Fortunately, the elderly woman remained conscious and appeared to have avoided serious injuries.

The unnamed suspect, who was reportedly pushing a stroller during this brutal act, managed to flee before law enforcement arrived.

“We saw an elderly woman fall to the ground, and many of us stood around, confused about what had just happened,” remarked witness Mark Reeves to WHDH on Monday.

It took some time for police to track down the suspect, but Dorothy Stringer, a local resident, recognized her.

“I’ve seen her around… She definitely needs to change her ways,” Stringer expressed.

“I think she really needs anger management. It’s clear she has some issues, and that’s what she needs to address.”
