CeeDee Lamb might be sidelined for up to four weeks due to an injury setback for the Cowboys

The Cowboys’ season seems to have hit another rough patch.

CeeDee Lamb has suffered a high ankle sprain during a game against the Bears over the weekend, which could sideline him for about three to four weeks, as reported.

This injury means Lamb will miss upcoming games against the Packers at home, the Jets in East Rutherford, and the Panthers on October 12.

There’s also a match against the Commanders at home on October 19, which he might miss as well.

Executive Vice President Steven Jones addressed the situation while speaking on Dallas Fan 105.3 on Monday.

“We need to see how he moves as days go by,” Jones mentioned. “Yes, he has a high ankle sprain, and each one is different. He wants to get back to Green Bay, but he needs to acknowledge the reality of the injury.”

Lamb got hurt in the first quarter after a solid performance that included a 100-yard game against the Bears on Sunday.

Bears linebacker Noah Sewell landed awkwardly on Lamb’s ankle, causing the sprain.

With Lamb out, George Pickens is expected to step up as the Cowboys’ primary receiver, depending on whether Ram can play.

Pickens had a notable game on Sunday, tallying 13 catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns in the season’s first three games. However, he also exhibited frustration when he was seen slamming his helmet onto the ground after a missed catch that led to an interception.
