Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz were notably absent from Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show, amid ongoing tensions within the family.
However, the rest of the Beckham clan attended, including David Beckham, along with their son Romeo and daughter Harper, who were seen leaving their hotel for the event on Friday.
Cruz Beckham was photographed departing as well, walking closely with his girlfriend Jackie Apostel.
They all appeared quite stylish, navigating the rainy weather as they made their way to the show.
Brooklyn, age 26, and Nicola, 30, haven’t participated in one of Victoria’s fashion shows since the March 2023 event in Paris.
This family rift seems to have intensified this year when Brooklyn and Nicola missed a lavish 50th birthday bash for David, which was filled with star power. Some sources suggested that the issue stemmed from Brooklyn’s relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, causing some strain with Romeo; but this, apparently, wasn’t accurate.
Later on, reports indicated that the friction might be connected to a fashion designer overshadowing Nicola at her wedding in 2022.
In addition, there were past disagreements between Nicola and her stepmother regarding wedding details, particularly involving the bridal gown. Nicola was initially set to wear a design by Victoria but ultimately chose a Valentino dress instead.
In August, Brooklyn took to Instagram to affirm his commitment to his wife, expressing gratitude for her support. He shared a sweet message, saying, “My whole world x I love you forever x I always choose you x You are the most wonderful person I know.”
The speculation about rifts within the family intensified after his wedding with Nicola, and earlier this May, when they skipped David’s birthday celebration.
Brooklyn addressed the family tensions during a recent appearance, noting, “There are always people who say negative things, but I have a very supportive wife. Me and her, we just do our own thing. We bow our heads and work. And we are happy.” He added that while negativity exists out there, he tries to focus on enjoying time with friends, like playing golf.
