Two People Die in Blaze Following Twin-Engine Plane Crash in North Texas

Tragic Plane Crash in Texas Claims Two Lives

Two individuals lost their lives when a twin-engine aircraft crashed and ignited near a business park in Fort Worth, Texas. The Beechcraft King Air C90 struck various trailers parked at the facility located on the city’s north side.

Tarrant County officials confirmed to WFAA ABC8 that the incident took place on a Sunday afternoon. The plane had taken off from Alliance Airport earlier that day and was reportedly returning to the same airport when disaster struck.

The King Air, identified as N291CC, is a 1977 model belonging to Mobile EHR, Inc. Reports indicate that the aircraft was completely destroyed upon colliding with several tractor-trailer rigs.

Flight data from FlightAware points out that the aircraft took off from Alliance Airport around noon and was approaching the airport after about an hour and a half of flight. This flight pattern is typical for training flights, raising questions about whether it was a routine operation or something more concerning.

Records indicate that two people were on board during the crash, both of whom are presumed deceased.

Fox4 News noted that around ten tractor-trailer rigs sustained damage from the crash. Various fire departments responded, managing to extinguish the flames within approximately 35 minutes.

The incident occurred at the Five Points Business Park. Owner Hadi Agiri expressed her shock at receiving such unexpected news. “They informed me that a small plane had crashed on our property,” she recounted, initially thinking it might be a joke, especially since she was watching a Cowboys game when she received the call.

The crash took place near Hicks Field, which is a civilian airport located south of Avondale, Texas. It’s still uncertain whether the pilot was trying to make an emergency landing at Hicks Field or back at Alliance Airport. The aircraft was reportedly descending when it vanished from radar.

No distress signals or emergency communications were detected from the plane before it crashed, claiming both crew members’ lives. The National Transportation Safety Board has announced that it will investigate the incident further.
