DJ Moore Hospitalized After Bears’ Victory

According to reports, Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore was taken to the hospital and didn’t travel with the team following their dramatic comeback win against the Washington Commanders on Monday night.

The 28-year-old Moore was held overnight in the Washington, D.C. area for “preventative treatment,” as announced after the game.

Despite his hospitalization, it’s noted that he left the stadium in an ambulance while still managing to joke with teammates in the locker room, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

Details surrounding his condition remain unclear for now.

In the game, Moore caught three passes for a total of 42 yards. He seemed fine as the Bears pulled off a narrow 25-24 win, thanks to a last-minute 38-yard field goal from Jake Moody.

Moore, now in his third season with the Bears after a five-year tenure with the Carolina Panthers, had logged 19 catches for 215 yards and one touchdown prior to this game, adding 25 rushing yards from eight attempts.

The Bears are on a roll, having won three consecutive games to improve their record to 3-2. They’re set to face the New Orleans Saints next Sunday.
