Drama Surrounding Mark Sanchez and Erin Campaneris
Erin Campaneris, the mother of Mark Sanchez’s child, found herself cooped up at her parents’ house in Arizona this week after she reportedly punched the former quarterback. This incident followed Sanchez’s surprising arrest, as revealed by The Post.
Campaneris, who is also known as Bobby T., was seen taking a stroll with her 8-year-old son on Tuesday outside their family’s modest condo. The condo, measuring around 1,300 square feet, was previously owned by Bart Campaneris, a legendary shortstop for the Oakland Athletics.
The 46-year-old British-born model, who used to date Sanchez, was spotted in a casual red gingham maxi dress paired with mesh Mary Jane shoes.
Just days prior to this public outing, she made some pointed remarks about Sanchez after he faced felony charges for allegedly assaulting a 69-year-old truck driver in Indianapolis.
“Unfortunately, none of this comes as a surprise to me,” she posted on her Instagram Story on Sunday.
According to her mother, Evelyn, Erin doesn’t live at the condo permanently, which is valued at around $500,000. It seems they may be staying put there until things cool down a bit.
Evelyn chose not to discuss the situation involving Sanchez, mentioning that she was advised by her lawyer to stay silent.
Campaneris emphasized on social media, “My primary concern has always been my 8-year-old son, Daniel. I’ve opted to remain publicly quiet to protect him.”
She also shared her worries about what Daniel might be exposed to, indicating a deep concern for his safety.
In addition to Sanchez, Erin has had other notable relationships. Reports suggest she dated Will Poulter, an actor known for his role in ‘The Bear’, before their split this year.
Sources have indicated that Campaneris prioritizes her son, facilitating a potentially tricky balance in her life as she navigates relationships and motherhood. She and Sanchez began dating in 2017.
Meanwhile, Sanchez recently married actress Perry Mattfeld in May 2023, who announced in February that they were expecting twins.
The couple’s story kicked off in 2017 while Sanchez was in Chicago filming ‘Shameless’, and their paths crossed through a teammate. They discovered they had a lot of shared experiences, including attending the same university and being born in the same hospital.
Sanchez’s troubles escalated recently; he was processed by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office after being involved in a violent incident with Perry Toll, the truck driver, last week.
Details from court records reveal that Sanchez approached Toll about parking issues while both were near a hotel loading area.
Currently, Sanchez is facing a Level 5 felony charge for serious bodily injury, alongside multiple misdemeanor charges related to battery, public intoxication, and trespassing.
He is set to appear in court again on November 5th after waiving a hearing initially scheduled for October 7th.
Adding to the turmoil, Mr. Toll is also suing Sanchez for civil damages, citing “severe and permanent injuries” sustained during the confrontation, which included serious harm to his head, jaw, and neck.
