The Washington Commanders are set to welcome back their starting quarterback for tonight’s Sunday Night Football matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, who are leading the NFC West.
Quarterback Daniels had to sit out the previous game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a hamstring injury, and the Commanders suffered a 28-7 loss, marking their third consecutive defeat. Earlier this season, Daniels also missed two games because of a knee sprain.
The Seahawks come into Week 9 refreshed after a bye week in Week 8. Prior to the break, they had secured victories in their last two games against both the Jaguars and Texans. Seattle’s quarterback, Sam Darnold, is having a strong season. Meanwhile, the Seahawks’ defense leads the NFL in various metrics, allowing only 4.7 yards per play and ranking third in yards permitted overall.
