Gabbard Visits Civil-Military Coordination Center in Israel
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard made an unexpected trip to the U.S.-led Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC). This visit coincides with the U.S. military’s efforts to plan and roll out the next steps of the ceasefire agreement.
Gabbard remarked, “This demonstrates what can happen when nations collaborate for a shared goal, potentially leading to enduring peace that future generations will appreciate.”

The CMCC aims to support stabilization in the Gaza Strip by facilitating humanitarian and security assistance, part of the wider peace strategy initiated during the Trump administration.
She expressed optimism, saying, “For the first time in decades, there’s genuine hope not only in Israel but across the Middle East. It comes from President Trump’s guidance and the groundwork he laid with this groundbreaking peace agreement.”
Gabbard discussed the importance of information sharing and coordination in ensuring the ceasefire’s success, which is why she chose to visit Israel to observe operations firsthand.
According to her, 16 nations and 20 non-governmental organizations are collaborating in this multinational civilian initiative aimed at maintaining stability in Gaza and initiating a new chapter for the region.

“The American people should understand that our role at the CMCC is centered on leadership, coordination, and service,” Gabbard noted.
About 200 U.S. military personnel are involved with the CMCC on the ground, although they are not slated to enter the Gaza Strip. Eventually, a coalition of Arab nations plans to dispatch stabilization forces to support the implementation of the peace initiative.
She mentioned that during discussions with leaders around the region, including those in Manama, people spoke with optimism about a future marked by cooperation rather than conflict. “Real progress is achievable through strong leadership and a united vision for peace,” she added.
Gabbard also visited the Kerem Shalom crossing at the Gaza border, highlighting her administration’s commitment to ensuring the success of the peace initiative. She follows in the footsteps of other Trump administration officials, such as Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who have also visited Israel recently.
Gabbard Wraps Up Trip with Emphasis on Communication and Coordination
“This mission is complex and underscores the importance of clear communication, coordination, and transparency,” she concluded. “Intelligence agencies not only safeguard security but also contribute to achieving lasting peace and stability for both Israel and Palestine.”
