Stagwell and Palantir team up to introduce a new marketing platform powered by AI

Palantir and Stagwell Partner for AI Marketing Platform

Palantir Technologies, a leader in artificial intelligence, has teamed up with Stagwell Inc., a global marketing and communications firm, to create a new AI-driven marketing platform designed for their clients.

This innovative platform leverages Palantir’s Foundry orchestration software along with Code and Theory’s expertise and unique data solutions from Stagwell’s The Marketing Cloud.

Mark Penn, Stagwell’s Chairman and CEO, mentioned that the idea for this platform originated from discussions with Palantir’s CEO, Alex Karp, aiming to develop a comprehensive AI marketing suite.

According to Penn, the collaboration seeks to utilize Stagwell’s data—combined with external data sources and first-party client information—to build adaptable AI marketing models. “It’s what I consider the holy grail of marketing,” he said.

He elaborated, expressing a desire to identify potential customers—like those likely to purchase umbrellas on rainy days—to kickstart targeted marketing campaigns.

The new AI platform is also expected to support large teams in effectively implementing marketing programs, incorporating Stagwell’s differential privacy technology for user data protection.

Penn emphasized, “We’re not just providing a marketing system for our clients; we want them to be able to use and integrate it within their organizations.” He envisions a tool that empowers store and regional managers to harness AI for enhancing their marketing efforts.

Using simple English queries, marketers could connect with their target audience more effectively, he noted.

Kevin Kawasaki, Palantir’s global business development head, highlighted the remarkable advancements in AI’s capabilities, reducing the need for coding created by humans. This progress has significantly sped up AI tool development in recent months.

The collaboration is expected to lead to efficient solutions, with an emphasis on customizing AI capabilities according to the specific requirements of different clients, even those in the same industry.

Penn indicated that the deployment of this tool is already underway, initially focusing on retail clients, with plans to expand its availability to a broader network in the coming months.
