Agency Files Lawsuit to Reveal Biden's Financial Support for NGOs Resettling Migrants Nationwide.

The Center for the Advancement of American Security (CASA) has initiated a lawsuit against the government to obtain records that could reveal substantial amounts of taxpayer money allocated to nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) for immigrant resettlement under former President Joe Biden, as reported by exclusive sources.

“This lawsuit aims to ensure maximum transparency regarding the Biden administration’s controversial use of taxpayer funds to support NGOs involved in illegal immigration,” stated CASA Director James Fitzpatrick.

The lawsuit requests documents from the fiscal years 2023 and 2024 concerning Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) grants to NGOs dedicated to relocating immigrants intercepted at the southern border into U.S. communities.

These records would reveal the total taxpayer expenditure on such NGOs providing various benefits to immigrants, including housing, education, medical care, and legal assistance as noted in the complaint.

A case in point, CASA officials mentioned that an NGO received $6.4 billion from U.S. taxpayers in fiscal year 2022 to offer these services to migrants at the border.

“Making these documents public serves the public interest by enhancing understanding of the relevant issues,” the lawsuit claims, emphasizing HHS’s “decisions and communications about federal funds provided to NGOs.”

As highlighted by various reports throughout Biden’s presidency, his administration has allocated millions of taxpayer dollars quarterly to NGOs and sanctuary jurisdictions committed to assisting in immigrant resettlement in American areas.

Fitzpatrick remarked that Americans deserve access to these records to better comprehend the actions taken by the Biden administration throughout the four years.

“The public has a right to know which organizations received this funding, allowing them to observe the extreme measures taken by the Biden administration to ensure government resources benefited as many entities as possible that encouraged his open-border policies,” Fitzpatrick asserted.

The lawsuit is filed as CASA v. HHS in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
