Nick Hogan Hints at Wrestling Career Following Father’s Passing

Nick Hogan, months after his father’s death, has suggested he might pursue a career in wrestling. His father, the iconic Hulk Hogan, passed away in July at the age of 71. Shortly after, Nick was seen at a number of WWE events, mentioning to TMZ Sports that being involved in the wrestling world connects him deeply with his late father.

Recently, Nick was photographed with NWA wrestler Byron Idle near the wrestling ring, which sparked speculation about his potential entry into the business.

When he was questioned about making a move into the ring, he didn’t dismiss the idea entirely. “You’ll never know, it’s in the blood, so you’ll never know,” Nick remarked. He stated he feels good and is working to stay in shape, adding lightheartedly that he can still drop a foot here and there, referencing his father’s finishing move.

Regarding Hulk Hogan’s health, he had a known history of atrial fibrillation, which is a condition leading to irregular heartbeats, as well as chronic lymphocytic leukemia. His death was attributed to a heart attack.

Just weeks before his passing, there were reports of health complications, but his widow Sky Daily Hogan claimed he was recovering from surgery and seemed well at that time.

Hulk Hogan made a significant impact in the wrestling industry, becoming a major figure in the WWF and winning multiple world championships. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, first in 2005 and later in 2020. Recently, he launched a beer brand named after his entrance music from his wrestling days and started a wrestling organization called Real American Freestyle.

His last WWE appearance was in January 2025, and he had sporadically participated in events throughout his later years.

In addition to wrestling, Hulk Hogan also dabbled in politics and notably supported Donald Trump at past events. His contributions to the wrestling industry have been widely acknowledged, with tributes emerging following his death, including a poignant 10-bell salute held by WWE during SmackDown! the day after his passing.
