Eagles Coordinator’s Home Vandalized; Adams Urges Fans to Chill

The New Jersey home of Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kavin Pattullo was recently vandalized with eggs following a tough loss. In light of this, former NFL defensive tackle Spice Adams has taken a moment to remind fans to keep perspective—it’s just a game.

Adams, who played college football at Penn State, understands the fervor of Penn State fans but highlights the importance of taking a step back. “That’s just wild,” he said, reacting to the vandalism. “I know fans are passionate, but really? Going to someone’s house to lay an egg? That’s just crazy.” He was discussing fantasy football punishments in a recent chat with media.

“This is a kid’s game,” Adams added. “You guys have to relax.” He reflected on his own experiences, noting that he never witnessed anything like this during his nine seasons in the NFL from 2003 to 2011. Even in Philadelphia, he joked, not even Santa Claus got a warm welcome—remember the legendary booing?

The Eagles fell to the Los Angeles Chargers 22-19 in overtime, extending their losing streak to three games. This loss has stirred concerns among Eagles fans regarding the offense, especially after last year’s Super Bowl triumph. Quarterback Jalen Hurts had a challenging night, committing five turnovers, which heightened worries about their performance.

The Eagles’ offense, with Pattullo now at the helm, currently ranks 19th in the league, averaging 22.2 points per game. The team remains in first place in the NFC East, but their dynamics seem to have shifted. The upcoming game against the struggling Raiders (2-11) may provide an opportunity to regain some confidence.
