Hello, readers.
Let’s wrap up this week on a sour note. Maybe it’s already too late for that. As you might know, I’ve made some questionable choices in the past. Sometimes, circumstances just call for it.
This seems to be one of those times…
Rapist, racist, and untrustworthy liar
Regardless of how you slice it, disgraced former Michigan Wolverines football coach Sherone Moore is a bad person.
This married father of three allegedly punched his executive assistant and then pressured her into having an abortion. He later doubled her salary as a sort of compensation.
When everything blew up, he reportedly became completely paralyzed with fear. There are accounts that he broke into her home, issuing death threats, which led to police involvement.
It’s a tragic situation. It’s not rare these days for those in power to misuse their influence. Think about figures like Weinstein, Cosby, Schwarzenegger, and Musk—while the latter two didn’t cross into criminal territory, they still found themselves in plenty of trouble.
Time has passed, but there’s a troubling truth: a person can build an impressive empire, yet its most vulnerable area often lies between their legs.
These stories transcend every boundary—social, geographical, and historical. The likes of Ben Franklin and Jefferson were not rash figures.
Still here, famous columnist Jemele Hill argues it’s about race. She suggests that if Moore had been white, he might’ve had a shot at rehabilitation. She further claims that his departure could set a precedent that would harm employment opportunities for other Black men.
That’s a wild notion, I know. And, honestly, a bit foolish.
But she writes for The Atlantic, a magazine I used to admire. It’s one of the last truly elite liberal publications, seemingly paying her quite a sum to spin narratives about racism and intensify racial tensions.
No one should be shocked. The Atlantic is owned by Laurene Powell Jobs, the widow of Steve Jobs.
*(Another powerhouse whose actions often led to significant issues.)
Jobs has become one of the wealthiest liberal activists globally, largely due to her husband’s legacy. She even donned a bikini alongside Ghislaine Maxwell.
She funds the salary of Atlantic editor-in-chief Jeffrey Goldberg, who famously misled people to support the Iraq War.
Why would these individuals care about staff writers whose roles revolve around addressing race relations?
Steve might quip: That’s a feature, not a bug.

Meanwhile, overseas, another columnist has allegedly misrepresented issues surrounding Pakistan’s rape gangs for years.
Owen Jones, a noted writer and media figure from The Guardian, has claimed that discussions about immigrant “grooming” gangs in 2023 are “false.”
Now, having acknowledged its truth, he insists he never denied it. It’s remarkable how his narrative keeps shifting. In a fair world, he wouldn’t have the privilege to work in media again.
Nevertheless, that won’t hinder The Guardian and Britain’s liberal media from continuing to pay him handsomely.

It’s become increasingly clear what we’ve long suspected.
Regarding Ukraine, I went for a walk: there’s “billions” in aid from the U.S. and the West contributing to massive enrichment. This isn’t shocking, given Ukraine’s long-standing reputation as one of the most corrupt nations in the Western world.
The New York Times has finally begun discussing this corruption. When the Times aligns with the right on matters they’ve championed for years, it’s hard not to think it’s solid evidence.
We should also consider that their decision to report this now could be politically motivated.
This is Amanda Sloat, a former Biden NSC senior director for Europe, speaking: It seems things were wild until very recently.
“What if Ukraine had announced before the war, ‘We’re not going to join NATO,’ which could have potentially halted the invasion?”
*gasp*… I used to think suggesting NATO expansion led to the war was pure Russian propaganda.
This is the throat exactly two years ago: at a White House press conference:
“Yesterday, NATO allies unanimously agreed to deliver a substantial new aid package to Ukraine and convey a critical message reaffirming Ukraine’s NATO membership.”
We are prepared to send even more funds to countries we know are misusing them, in a situation where we suspect we’re increasing the risk of another world conflict.

The reality is, no one has caused as much harm to children as Randi Weingarten.
Weingarten, president of the largest teachers’ union in the U.S., orchestrated significant public pressure to keep schools closed during the 2020-21 academic year. By mid-2020, data showed that children under 18 with no serious medical conditions were largely immune to the virus.
Back then, she labeled President Trump’s push to reopen schools as “reckless,” “insensitive,” and “cruel.” Many of her colleagues also framed the reopening push as indicative of “racism” or “white supremacy.”
Now, she acknowledges there was, in fact, a “mistake.” In an interview, a Politico reporter observed, “Everyone makes mistakes.”
Especially Mr. Trump, I presume.
“The Trump administration faltered in clarity and safety focus. The reopening has become politicized.”

The studies that shook the medical field in 2020 led to various adjustments. One paper concluded that Black newborns treated by white doctors had higher mortality rates.
Due to this document and the mobilization surrounding George Floyd, some elite medical schools even dropped the MCAT from their admissions criteria.
In certain instances, students were accepted based solely on race. Prominent medical journals have begun advocating for race-based treatment, especially regarding the distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.
Years later, it became evident that some medical students entering residency were shockingly unprepared, lacking fundamental knowledge. A whistleblower has stepped forward.
Moreover, it has come to light that the original study was flawed. They obscured information, neglecting to disclose that Black newborns had higher complication rates that primarily necessitated white medical professionals.
After correcting for these factors, the racial disparity vanished. Essentially, the paper had little relevance.
Or did it?
As later released in a FOIA request, the authors excluded another significant data point.
“More than 80 additional white newborns per 100,000 live births die when attended by Black physicians compared to white doctors. This indicates that racial matching decreases case fatality rates by 22%,” the document stated.
So, it’s quite the opposite of their initial claim.
Additionally, reports suggest they justified cutting the notes because it would “detract from the narrative.”

I guess I should share my perspective on all this, right?
As you know, dear reader, Governor Wes Moore has lied. He misrepresented his military honors and educational history.
Sure, politicians lie. Trump does! I understand why he might claim Mar-a-Lago is worth an outrageous sum when it’s likely far less.
However, some lies can be incredibly harmful and utterly self-serving.
No, we didn’t industrialize or profit from the castration of minors. In fact, crime has decreased under Biden! (Remember that?) What immigration crisis? Obviously, the surge of illegal immigrants doesn’t impact housing costs, crime, or wages.
If you’re against altering your child’s sexual orientation? Bigot. If you seek to remove explicit content from kindergarten libraries? Nazis. Supporting our most recent and expensive war? Russian troll. Want to reopen schools? You want to endanger lives.
These are lies that undermine a precious American inheritance. They restructure our medical institutions at breakneck speed, so by the time the truth emerges, it’s often too late, and your doctor might be woefully unqualified. They draw us into wars and wreck our education system, harming our children. They pit us against one another based on fabricated racial grievances.
So, when will someone start holding these individuals accountable?
I can’t say I’ve never dreamed about it. Yet, I recognize it’s a sad reality. It seems almost inevitable if justice remains nonexistent. If those who are scamming continue to receive paychecks.
At some point, the public might even crave authoritarianism. They might feel it’s needed to restore order. Congress likely won’t take that step. The president won’t either!
I genuinely don’t wish to meet an American dictator.
But what’s the alternative?
I can sense the ominous approach of an iron-fisted regime. Boots on the ground. POW camps. Journalists like Hill and Jones weeping in orange jumpsuits, loaded onto buses behind their bosses. Figures like Weingarten and Fauci could face imprisonment, along with numerous doctors, university officials, and executives from Pfizer and tech firms. Awaiting trials for crimes against the populace, perpetually just months away—if they’re even necessary.
One adjective is now ingrained in the American psyche.
Unless something significantly alters our trajectory.
