New disturbing information surfaces about the alleged Brown University mass shooter

A unique laser beam on a handgun led police to identify a suspect in the Brown University shooting. This man traveled over 1,150 miles from Wisconsin to Rhode Island to carry out the attack, as reported by law enforcement sources.

In the hotel room of a man now regarded as a “person of interest,” authorities recovered a revolver and a compact handgun fitted with the unusual laser system, sources shared.

When questioned about his whereabouts on Saturday, the suspect stated he had been in his room the whole time, according to reports.

The laser on the handgun played a crucial role in helping investigators pinpoint the individual, officials confirmed.

This man, described only as being in his 20s, was taken into custody early Sunday at a Coventry, Rhode Island hotel after police forced entry.

Upon entering his room, officers discovered two weapons.

Authorities have indicated that the individual is believed to have traveled from Wisconsin for the shooting, but his motives are still not entirely clear.

Tragically, two students lost their lives, and nine others were injured during a shooting incident in a classroom while preparing for a final economics exam on Saturday.

Bureau Chief Kash Patel noted that the FBI assisted in tracking down the suspect, utilizing cell analysis to locate him at the hotel.

“We thank the FBI and our partners for their ongoing teamwork. Please continue to pray for the victims, their families, and the entire Brown University community,” Patel stated.

Previous reports indicated that the shooter entered the classroom brandishing a handgun and discharged over 40 rounds of 9mm ammunition during the attack.

Details remain sparse, as Providence police and local officials continue their investigation.

Currently, it’s unclear if the suspect has any affiliation with the university.

Authorities have not released the names of the victims, noting that the families had yet to be informed about their loved ones’ situations as of early Sunday.

While shelter-in-place orders have been lifted across Ivy League campuses, all final exams have been canceled.
