Stefon Diggs reportedly slapped and choked a female worker during a financial disagreement, according to a police report.

Stefon Diggs is facing accusations of physically assaulting a female employee during a financial dispute earlier this month, based on a police report just released.

This incident reportedly occurred at Diggs’ residence in Dedham, Massachusetts, on December 2, right after the NFL star played a crucial role in his team’s Monday Night Football win against the Giants.

Sources indicate that an argument about money erupted between Diggs and the woman, identified by various reports as his former personal chef, which allegedly led to the assault.

The woman, who had been working for Diggs until the incident, initially contacted police on December 16 but reportedly expressed no interest in pursuing charges at that time. However, on December 23, she changed her mind and decided to proceed with the case.

At present, Diggs, who is in a relationship with rapper Cardi B, is charged with one felony count of strangulation and a misdemeanor count of assault. He is set to appear in court for arraignment on January 23, just two days before the AFC Championship game kickoff.

Diggs has strongly denied these accusations through his attorney, David Meyer, who stated, “They are unsubstantiated and never investigated because they never happened. The timing and motivation for filing this motion are very clear; they stem from a financial disagreement that the employee feels was unresolved.”

The Patriots expressed their support for Diggs in a statement, indicating that they will continue to gather necessary information and fully cooperate with relevant authorities and the NFL.

Meanwhile, the NFL acknowledges the situation and has been in touch with the Patriots regarding the matter.

New England recently secured the AFC East championship and is gearing up for a game against the Dolphins before entering the postseason next week.

This season, Diggs has achieved 82 receptions for 970 yards and four touchdowns across 16 games.
