FBI Disrupts Domestic Terrorist Plot “Operation White Nights”

In the lead-up to New Year’s Eve 2025, the FBI uncovered a potential domestic terrorism scheme known as “Operation White Nights.” The plot, orchestrated by four individuals linked to the anti-government group Turtle Island Liberation Front, aimed to set off improvised explosive devices at five different sites at midnight, specifically targeting two unidentified logistics companies in Southern California.

While the name “Turtle Island Liberation Front” might sound somewhat trivial, counterterrorism expert Ryan Mauro warns that this group deserves serious attention.

Mauro explains that “Turtle Island” is a term often used by individuals opposing terrorism. In his words, “Native American tribes referred to the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as Turtle Island, believing the continent was built on the backs of turtles—until malevolent settler capitalists came along and disrupted everything.”

The group’s ideologies, whether they stem from Islamist, anarchist, or communist beliefs, are unified by a common goal: the desire to “liberate” Turtle Island.

“This represents a call for violence and the dismantling of America,” Mauro remarks.

Glenn adds that while their intent to see America dismantled is the only thing linking these individuals, there seems to be a chaotic alliance at play. “This connection among indigenous groups, Islamists, and Marxists will eventually be unraveled. They just aim to eliminate us first, overthrowing the government before turning against each other,” he cautions.

Mauro points out that these temporarily allied groups have realized their actions against Israel are faltering. Consequently, they have redirected their energy toward instigating an “anti-police movement,” primarily targeting ICE officers, although Israel remains on their agenda.

The Capital Research Center, where Mauro is a researcher, has speculated that these factions will aim at companies that connect to what they label as “Zionist infrastructure.”

“Through this approach, we tackle various themes: anti-police, anti-Zionist, anti-capitalist, Turtle Island, and pro-Palestinian,” he mentions, referring to some activities they are planning.

Although this particular plot has been disrupted, Mauro expresses concern. He believes it signals a shift toward a new era of attacks.

“Could this be the next Black Lives Matter movement?” Glenn inquires.

“That’s quite probable,” Mauro responds candidly.

Echoing the BLM movement, which leveraged America’s history of slavery to mobilize support, the new Turtle Island movement risks exploiting Native American issues to incite violence.

Mauro describes this coalition—comprising “terrorists,” “foreign governments,” “Turtle Islanders,” and “Christian anarchists”—as a singular, reactive movement.

“There are two crucial steps,” he insists.

First, it’s vital to “organize a team to strategize and act on the Turtle Island intifada.”

Secondly, it is essential to “[preserve] counter-narratives that use historical documentation to present the full scope of Native American history: the good, the bad, and the ugly.”
