Kai Trump and Logan Paul discuss politics, Uncle Barron, and dating while having a full-time Secret Service.

In a recent interview, President Trump’s granddaughter Kai expressed her belief that “politics is dangerous” and encouraged Americans to find common ground. She also shared her thoughts on her Uncle Barron and the unique experience of dating while being followed by the U.S. Secret Service.

During a roundtable discussion with influencer Jake Paul, Kai, the eldest daughter of Donald Trump Jr., stated that she’s completely disengaged from politics and bears no hostility towards her grandfather’s opponent, Kamala Harris.

“I really don’t want to get into politics because it’s pretty dangerous,” she admitted candidly.

Kai, now 18, noted that both political sides are veering toward more “extreme” views, which she believes creates further division, largely attributing this trend to the echo chambers fostered by social media.

“If both sides could just meet in the middle, I think everyone would be happier. There’s this radical left and radical right, and many are becoming too extreme,” she said.

“Social media plays a big role here because it tends to influence your feed in one direction or the other,” she explained. “It doesn’t really help people find a balanced perspective, which can drive some folks to distraction and get others too wrapped up in it.”

Kai also mentioned she has no personal conflicts with Harris when Paul inquired if she viewed the former Vice President as an adversary.

“There’s no bad blood. I see myself as neutral. Sure, I support my family and my grandpa, but that’s where it ends,” she shared.

Later, when Paul asked about Barron, Kai referred to him affectionately, saying, “He’s a wonderful person. I know he’s not fond of the spotlight, but he’s really great.”

Now 19, Barron is studying business at NYU in Washington, D.C.

When asked what Barron said to President Biden during Trump’s second inauguration earlier this year, Kai couldn’t pinpoint it, but she confidently remarked, “It was good.”

Kai, who plans to golf at the University of Miami next year, also touched on the “awkwardness” of dating a Secret Service agent who’s never quite out of earshot.

“It’s a bit strange,” she admitted. “Even when I’m with friends, I know they’re watching me. I try to focus and pretend they’re not there. The first few months were definitely challenging,” she confessed.
