A self-identified Antifa member in Minneapolis has made a disturbing call for an “armed” group to take to the streets and “do what needs to be done” to drive federal immigration agents out of the area.
Kyle Wagner, whose father claims to be a “master of hate,” operates out of Minneapolis and has been known to distribute gas masks to demonstrators, according to his now-deleted Instagram account.
Recently, he’s been sharing a series of erratic videos that showcase his participation in protests against ICE, urging others to join him in the streets.
On Sunday, following the shooting death of 37-year-old Alex Preti by federal agents, Wagner posted a video on Instagram, calling for protesters to adopt “boots on the ground” tactics.
Wagner, in a lengthy tirade, stated, “This cannot end without good people on the streets armed and ready to protect innocent people from the gunfire of mass murderers and fascist occupiers.”
He stressed the urgency, saying, “I need my boots on the ground and I need them to be ready to do what they have to do to make sure this doesn’t cost any more innocent lives. We don’t have time to let this drag on.” It sounds extreme, but he insists it’s the crucial “iron front line.”
In another of his videos, Wagner mentioned that he cannot legally possess a firearm, yet wears a tactical vest at protests for protection. He expressed an expectation of being shot for exercising his rights during his speech. His message, it seems, is about achieving peace on the streets.
His body is extensively tattooed, featuring an Antifa symbol on his neck and “RESISTANCE” emblazoned across his chest.
During the chaos on Sunday night, Wagner was reportedly among the crowd when protesters targeted the Hilton hotel, allegedly housing ICE agents. He described the disorder, which left one officer injured, as “a fun downtown affair with some cold boys.”
He returned to Minneapolis the following afternoon, distributing gas masks to eager protesters, as seen in an Instagram video.
The uptick in Antifa’s activities follows two civilian shootings by federal immigration agents this month. Preti, an ICU nurse at a Veterans Affairs hospital, was shot during a tense confrontation with officers.
Federal officials claim that Preti approached an immigration officer with a gun and “violently resisted” arrest, but a bystander’s video shows him only holding a cellphone.
Additionally, Renee Nicole Good, a mother of three, lost her life in a crash where she alleged federal agents attempted to “weaponize” her car against ICE agents in her neighborhood.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, President Trump indicated that his administration was “looking at everything” concerning the shooting of Preti.
Wagner’s Instagram account, which had over 100,000 followers, was deleted on Monday afternoon.
