O'Leary argues with former MSNBC host who says ICE agents are White supremacists

O’Leary and Cross Spar on CNN Over ICE Comments

During a CNN appearance, Kevin O’Leary found himself in a heated exchange with Tiffany Cross, a former MSNBC host and liberal commentator. Cross labeled Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents as “white supremacists,” attributing this to their tattoos and suggesting a connection between these agents and the Proud Boys.

She remarked, “There’s a reason we don’t see a resurgence of the Proud Boys, and that’s because many of them are likely to be ICE agents.” She mentioned that while she hadn’t seen in-depth coverage of this topic, the ideology and violent tactics of these groups seem to align closely with ICE’s operations.

This discussion unfolded in the context of riots that occurred in Minneapolis following the shooting of Alex Preti by Border Patrol agents. O’Leary pressed Cross, asking if she was suggesting that ICE agents were part of a militia. When Cross affirmed this, she added that O’Leary’s dismissal of her comments was misplaced.

He retorted, questioning the validity of her assertions by pointing out the lack of evidence linking Proud Boys to ICE. Despite this, Cross maintained her stance, claiming that ICE has members with “white supremacist tattoos.” O’Leary, still skeptical, sought clarification, wondering if she was asserting that federal employees could be labeled as white supremacists.

In the midst of her arguments, Cross described O’Leary’s comments as deflective and claimed he was part of a “cult,” leading host Abby Phillip to intervene and deescalate the personal jabs being exchanged.

Toward the end of their debate, Cross insisted on adhering to her observations, stating, “I follow my eyes, my ears, and my logic. There are several ICE agents with white supremacist tattoos.”

Fox News Digital reached out to ICE for a statement but had not received an immediate response. The conversation certainly stirred up emotions, reflecting the broader tensions around immigration, law enforcement, and race in the current discourse.
