Billy Porter Criticizes Nicki Minaj for Supporting Trump: 'Forget Her'

Actor Billy Porter has criticized rapper Nicki Minaj for her endorsement of President Donald Trump, repeatedly expressing his disdain.

During a red carpet interview at the MusiCares gala in Los Angeles, Porter bluntly stated, “Fuck you,” when asked about Minaj’s views on Trump.

“She’s shit,” Porter reiterated, emphasizing his belief that when people reveal their true nature, they should be taken seriously from the start.

He added an exaggerated “Uh-huh” for emphasis.

Porter is set to appear in the upcoming film, The Hunger Games: Sunrise to Reap, and he is known for his sharp confrontations regarding left-leaning political perspectives.

Last summer, he expressed a desire for Kamala Harris to advocate more for transgender issues as the 2024 election approaches. He also criticized the press for their coverage of Trump’s opposition to child gender reassignment procedures, labeling the U.S. a “racist” country he likened to “Nazi Germany.”

Minaj has increasingly voiced her political opinions, notably commending Trump’s actions to address what she calls the “genocide” of Christians in Nigeria and criticizing California Governor Gavin Newsom’s policies on transgender children.

At the Turning Point USA’s America Fest conference, she discussed her political motivations, stating she was “tired of being pushed around” and vowed, “I’m not going to back down again.”

She also emphasized that her participation in America Fest was more meaningful to her than any concert she’s performed globally, viewing the event as a crucial link between young people and God through Charlie Kirk’s organization.

Recently, the “Starships” artist joined demonstrators against ICE at a Minnesota church service, chanting slogans like “hands up, don’t shoot” while calling for punishment for former CNN anchor Don Lemon.

Moreover, Minaj attended the Trump Account Summit last week to advocate for the president’s new investment account initiative, declaring herself “probably the president’s biggest fan, and that won’t change.”
