Kamala Harris Rebrands Campaign Account
Former Vice President Kamala Harris recently made a notable update to her previously inactive campaign account, which had fallen quiet after her 2024 presidential run ended in defeat to Donald Trump. On Thursday, she revealed the rebranding of the “KamalaHQ” account to “headquotes_67” during a video message.
In her early Thursday clip, she expressed, “It’s a place where you can go online and basically stay up to date on what’s going on and meet and revisit great and courageous leaders.” She seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the change and urged her followers to “keep up the good work” while hinting at future interactions.
Harris donned a purple suit—a color choice reminiscent of her appearances at both the 2020 Inauguration and the 2024 Democratic National Convention. She emphasized that the new account aims to connect people with various leaders, including elected officials, community figures, and young activists.
The day before this announcement, Harris teased some kind of news on her social media platforms. She shared a quirky video showing her team attempting to log into the old account using various incorrect passwords before successfully accessing “headquarters.” This post concluded with the word “Tomorrow” appearing on a black screen, intriguing her audience.
After her election loss in November 2024, the KamalaHQ account had been mostly inactive, with the last post thanking supporters being made shortly after the election. Since then, she has mostly focused on promoting her memoir titled “107 Days,” detailing her brief presidential campaign, while also making several public appearances and statements on political matters.
As of Thursday morning, the rebranding was reflected on X but not yet on her Instagram account. Harris, having ruled out a gubernatorial run in California, now resides in a multimillion-dollar home in Malibu with her husband, Doug Emhoff.
