Meghan Markle Attends Fundraising Gala in Pink Dress

On Saturday night, Meghan Markle made a solo appearance at the annual 15 Percent Pledge Fundraising Gala in Los Angeles, donning a striking pink dress.

Looking elegant, the Duchess of Sussex opted for a custom strapless design from Charles Harbison of Harbison Studio. She completed her outfit with a long black cloak draping gracefully over her arms.

At 44, Markle styled her hair in a slicked-back bun, keeping her makeup natural and fresh. Her accessories included black earrings and a pair of black suede heels by Stuart Weitzman.

Harbison even shared a video of herself having a joyful moment with Markle at the event, which was filled with notable guests.

The Fifteen Percent Pledge, established by Aurora James, is a nonprofit that supports retailers in allocating at least 15 percent of their shelf space and revenue to Black-owned businesses. This initiative aims to foster inclusivity in the retail sector.

Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, received recognition during the gala for her commendable community advocacy work. The event took place at Paramount Studios and attracted various celebrities, including Chloe Bailey, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Winnie Harlow.

Interestingly, Prince Harry wasn’t seen accompanying Markle. Just a few days prior, she shared a video highlighting a sweet moment where she brought him treats while he worked in his office.

The evening also served as a platform for Markle to promote her latest collaboration with Compartes Chocolate, which features unique raspberry and strawberry spreads, alongside a series of chocolate treats.

In a nostalgic nod to her past, she posted a photo wearing a familiar navy Roland Mouret dress, reminiscent of her time as a royal. This elegant strapless midi was last seen during the Royal Foundation Banquet at Kensington Palace in November 2018 with Prince Harry.

Notably, the couple was last spotted together at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah last month for the premiere of “Cookie Queens.” Reports indicated that they appeared somewhat reserved during the event, with Prince Harry expressing interest mainly in discussing the ongoing trial against a British tabloid. He remarked that Markle’s experience in royal life had been “an absolute disaster.”
