Khomeini’s Grandson Alerts U.S. It Will Face Serious Consequences Before Iran Is Disgraced

Comments from Ali Ahmad Khomeini on Iran and Israel

Ali Ahmad Khomeini, the grandson of the founder of the Islamic Republic, made some striking remarks recently. He warned that Americans would “die” before Iran would accept humiliation, and he asserted that Israel could face destruction if Islamic nations obtained military strengths.

These comments were shared on a Lebanese television network, Al-Mayadeen TV. According to a translation by the Middle East Media Institute, Khomeini suggested that this threat hinges on whether Islamic countries gain the military capability to attack Israel.

He emphasized that Israel and its allies are well aware of the potential intentions of the Islamic nations toward Israel. Khomeini stated, “Israelis know very well that if the day comes when the Islamic State is able to fire missiles at Israel, they will do to Israel what Hamas did.”

When pressed by the interviewer about which Islamic countries he referred to, Khomeini was clear in his response, stating that he meant all Islamic countries. He noted, “Today we see that some countries in the region are not meeting their obligations and claim they lack the capacity to do so.” He went on to mention that not only Israel, but the U.S. and global leaders understand that if Islamic countries could bomb Israel, they would do it.

Khomeini also highlighted a strong resolve against perceived threats. “We are not afraid of them at all, because we are resolute in defending our rights and our country,” he declared.

Interestingly, he directed a specific message towards the United States: “We tell the American people, you will die before you see us humiliated.”

Earlier in the month, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei criticized President Donald Trump, accusing him of igniting regional tensions and inciting protests during a significant online event related to the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Khamenei vowed that Iran “will put an end to America’s mischief.” These comments were made amid rising tensions in the region and increasing concerns about Iran’s pursuit of advanced missile technology and nuclear ambitions, along with its crackdown on domestic protests.

As tensions grow, Iran has escalated rhetoric, particularly before upcoming nuclear negotiations. Iran recently showcased a “missile city,” claiming its capabilities could target Israel within 10 to 12 minutes. Meanwhile, Revolutionary Guards-related media have detailed a multi-faceted strategy for engagement against the U.S.

This surge of rhetoric from Iran coincides with increased military readiness from both the U.S. and Israel, as evidenced by recent clashes, including incidents involving Iranian drones and tensions affecting U.S. shipping.

Israel is approaching the situation with a focus on diplomacy, although President Trump and other officials have indicated that military responses remain an option. It’s becoming increasingly evident that any aggression from Iran could lead to significant repercussions.

Taken together, Iran’s missile displays and defiant statements appear to be strategies aimed at consolidating influence ahead of further discussions.
