Consensus Hong Kong Conference Kicks Off This Wednesday
CoinDesk is set to launch its 2nd Annual Consensus Hong Kong Conference this Wednesday, featuring discussions focused on policy. If you’re there, I’d love to meet you—just find me either on stage or mingling on the show floor.
What to Expect
The conference will commence with remarks from Hong Kong’s Chief Executive, John KC Lee. This event holds importance as Hong Kong sits at a pivotal junction between Eastern and Western financial services, and CoinDesk is eager to delve into its impact on consensus.
Agenda Highlights
The first day will feature a dialogue with Treasury Secretary Paul Chan and Securities and Futures Commission CEO Julia Leung, touching on a range of topics like real-world asset tokenization and stablecoins, as well as the dynamics of evolving payment systems and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
We have a lineup of speakers that includes global regulators and policymakers, gathering to discuss how the industry interacts with regulatory frameworks. This annual dialogue continues to adapt to current trends.
Additional topics such as privacy, artificial intelligence, decentralized finance, and trading behaviors will be explored throughout the conference.
