Drake Maye’s Wife Reflects on Season Following Super Bowl Loss

After the New England Patriots faced a tough defeat against the Seattle Seahawks in the Super Bowl, Ann Michael May, the wife of quarterback Drake Maye, took to Instagram to share her thoughts. The game ended with a score of 29-13, and while it was a disappointing finish, she expressed gratitude for the season’s experiences.

“Even though it didn’t end the way I wanted it to end, I still thank God for a great season,” she wrote, sharing a heartfelt message along with a heart emoji.

Despite the loss, she highlighted the support system around them, saying, “We’re happy to be surrounded by an amazing group of people who have made this season such a great one. This is just the beginning!”

Both Drake and Ann Michael have made headlines in their own right. Drake secured second place in the MVP voting after a standout season, while Ann Michael gained notoriety on TikTok for her baking skills, especially with her “Bakemas” series where she baked daily leading up to Christmas.

In terms of performance, Drake had impressive statistics in the regular season, completing 72% of his passes, throwing for 4,394 yards, with 31 touchdowns and eight interceptions, in addition to rushing for 421 yards and two touchdowns. However, the playoffs proved challenging; he struggled to maintain that level, completing just 58.3% of his passes for 828 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions over four games while facing considerable pressure from defenses.

Though the season concluded on a sour note, both seem optimistic about their futures, reflecting on their accomplishments and the support from their community.
