Rihanna experienced an unexpected fashion moment while supporting her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, at his AWGE Fall/Winter 2026 fashion show during New York Fashion Week.
The singer, 37, was spotted at New York City’s Hall des Lumières on Friday night, dressed in an AWGE leather jacket with black fur accents, which featured a rather bold slit in the back. She paired it with a black lace bra, sheer black footless stockings, and black stiletto heels.
Upon her arrival, that eye-catching slit seemed to be a bit too revealing, briefly exposing her back. Just a little mishap, I guess—but what’s a fashion show without some drama?
Despite the wardrobe incident, Rihanna quickly adjusted her jacket and sat in the front row alongside Rocky’s cousin, rapper A$AP Nast, and Mel Ottenberg, former stylist and Interview magazine’s editor-in-chief. She appeared unfazed and even smiled for photos with her companions while enjoying the show.
After the fashion showcase, Rihanna complimented A$AP Rocky, who debuted his fashion brand in Paris the previous year. “I’m always proud of my man,” she remarked, calling him “creative and a genius.”
The couple started dating in late 2019 after years of friendship, and they made their relationship public in mid-2020. They now share three kids: RZA, 3; Riot, 2; and Rocky, just six months old.
Rihanna has previously expressed her pride in Rocky’s accomplishments, such as when his latest album topped the Billboard 200 chart. She playfully shared her excitement on social media, emphasizing her admiration for him.
In a past interview, Rocky referred to Rihanna as “the love of my life,” which just adds more warmth to their bond. Rihanna humorously mentioned how she feels overshadowed by his style sometimes, joking about feeling like his assistant when they are together.
