Deep State Activists in DHS Probed by Secretary Kristi Noem

Secretary Kristi Noem has revealed that activists linked to the “deep state” within the Department of Homeland Security were secretly monitoring the communications of top political appointees. In a recent podcast, she stated that a representative for Elon Musk assisted in exposing these activities, claiming, “They downloaded software onto my phone and laptop to monitor me and record my meetings.”

“They were doing similar things to some politicians, so in the end we [outside tech] people didn’t have the expertise to identify this kind of software on all the laptops and cell phones,” she added.

Noem expressed her disbelief at the extent of the situation, stating, “Before people talked about the deep state, I believed it existed. I never imagined it could be this bad.” She also mentioned her ongoing efforts to identify individuals who may not share a love for America, indicating that these individuals are present not only in DHS but throughout the federal government.

Furthermore, many officials are reportedly concerned about Chinese eavesdropping on U.S. communications systems.

She also discussed the discovery of a dedicated spy area within the DHS facility. “I just found a whole room on this campus the other day that was a SCIF—Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility—filled with files that no one knew existed. An employee stumbled upon it and raised questions, leading to the realization that there were people working there with sensitive documents on controversial topics. Now, I’m turning this information over to my lawyer to figure out what happened,” she explained.

Noem is also looking to rebuild connections among scientists in the U.S. government and Chinese labs before the pandemic disrupted operations. “There are national laboratories under my jurisdiction with scientists involved in studies related to the Wuhan laboratory. We’re examining how they interacted and conducted experiments,” she noted.

“It was an eye-opener,” she remarked.
