U.S. and Israel Initiate Major Operation Against Iran

The United States, alongside Israel, have embarked on a significant military operation targeting Iran. This marks the second strike on the Islamic Republic within eight months.

President Donald Trump affirmed a coordinated attack with Israel early Saturday, amid reports of strikes on various sites in Tehran, dubbing the initiative “Operation Epic Fury.” This operation follows the earlier “Operation Midnight Hammer” conducted in June 2025, which led to the destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Trump justified the recent military actions, emphasizing the goal of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. However, he acknowledged the potential for American casualties, stating, “the lives of brave American heroes may be lost.”

“This is a common occurrence in wartime,” Trump remarked. “But we are not doing this for the present alone. It’s for the future. It’s a noble mission. We pray for every service member as they selflessly risk their lives to ensure that Americans and our children are never threatened by a nuclear-armed Iran.”

Furthermore, Trump accused Iran of dismissing numerous chances to move away from its nuclear agenda, which, he claims, triggered the current military strike. While he asserts a commitment to ending the Iranian regime, he has called upon the Iranian populace to reclaim their government when the operation concludes.

“The U.S. military’s large-scale, ongoing operation aims to prevent this dangerous dictatorship from endangering America’s core national security interests,” he stated. “We’re determined to obliterate their missile capabilities, completely eradicate their missile industry.”

He urged Iranians to “evacuate,” warning, “Don’t leave your houses. The outside is unsafe. Bombs will fall everywhere. Once we’re finished, seize control of your government. This could be your only chance for generations.”
