Famous figures respond to President Trump's actions against Iran as tensions rise

While many people were asleep, the US military initiated attacks on Iran, which quickly drew responses from various celebrities and members of Congress.

The coordinated strikes, executed in collaboration with Israel, first targeted an area close to the office of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in Tehran.

The administration has resisted calls to abandon its nuclear program after prolonged negotiations. President Trump issued a stark warning about the consequences of failing to reach a deal, stating, “This is a very simple message: They will never have nuclear weapons,” via a video on Truth Social.

Among the first to comment following the attacks was Dave Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports.

“I find it amusing when people have no idea what information the president had that led to this decision. Even politicians who can’t stand him but have been briefed seem to agree with this approach. Many podcasters understand this too,” he expressed on X.

Portnoy described Iran as a terrorist state with a notorious history of human rights abuses. He stated, “They despise Americans, they loathe Israel and Jews. They would eliminate us if they got the chance. They just killed tens of thousands, and we lost our people, but the majority of the Middle East aligns with us. Supporting our military and country today feels pretty straightforward. We’re in the right here; God bless America.”

Jillian Michaels, a well-known health expert and supporter of Trump, also expressed her views on the military actions.

“We all understand that President Trump’s declaration of war means that our brave servicemen and women will have to step up. It’s the families—moms, dads, spouses—who are the ones anxious about this. The future of the Iranian people is uncertain. Regardless of one’s opinion, we should pray for our military and those families affected by this situation,” she wrote on X.

Michaels further elaborated on Iran’s human rights violations, recounting the suffering faced by Iranians: “They’ve endured decades of oppression. Young women have been brutally killed for minor infractions, while dissidents are tortured in secret prisons. Crowds demanding freedom face live ammunition, and a regime that relies on rape, silencing, and executions to maintain power.” She added, “If millions can be freed from this darkness and we can cut funding to terrorism, it could lead to lasting peace in the Middle East. This could be a pivotal moment in history.”

Elon Musk, seemingly aware of the heightened emotions on social media regarding the political turmoil, chimed in as well. He announced a feature on X where users can choose topics to filter their timelines, offering an escape from the political discourse that many find overwhelming. “If you’re fed up with the political heat, now you can select different topics,” he noted.
