Democrat Susie Lee Supported Biden's Increase of Illegal Immigration at the Border

Gunter Targets Lee in Congressional Race

Dr. Jeff Gunter, who served as President Donald Trump’s ambassador to Iceland, recently criticized Rep. Susie Lee (D-Nev.) for what he describes as her support for President Joe Biden’s immigration policies that could allow up to 20 million undocumented immigrants to enter the country through the southern border. He claimed he would work to unseat Lee if he becomes the Republican candidate for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District.

During a discussion, Gunter expressed frustration regarding Democrats like Lee who, he believes, have not taken a stand against illegal immigration. “Honestly,” he said, “she has aided and abetted Joe Biden in flooding our country with up to 20 million illegal aliens. She chose illegal aliens over the American people and her own district. That’s why she’s going to lose.”

Gunter also pointed out that Lee voted against a significant piece of legislation known as the Big Beautiful bill, which included provisions important to Nevada, particularly concerning the taxation of tips in the hospitality industry. “She voted against tipping. Twenty-five percent of jobs are in the service industry,” he added, indicating his disappointment with her stance on legislation that he believes would benefit workers.

This election in Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District is critical, as it could influence whether Republicans retain their House majority in the 2026 midterm elections. Gunter emphasized the need for Republicans to energize their supporters ahead of this pivotal race.

Additionally, a report indicated that Lee allegedly failed to properly disclose $3.3 million in financial transactions, raising questions about her accountability under the STOCK Act, which mandates the public disclosure of significant stock trades made by Congress members.

Gunter expressed strong sentiments about Lee’s actions, referencing the negative comparisons some have made, suggesting she’s akin to “Susie Madoff,” implying dishonesty in her dealings. “What she did to her constituents is truly horrible and shameful,” he remarked, criticizing what he sees as a conflict between her responsibilities and personal interests.

Conversations around these issues are ongoing, as the election approaches, and they highlight the stakes for both parties in the coming months.
