While Kai Trump was soaking in the Miami Open, his mother’s partner, Tiger Woods, was having a rough time with his SUV back home in Jupiter Island.
President Trump’s eldest grandson was mingling with athletes at the tennis event just as Woods had his accident.
17-year-old Trump shared a cheerful photo on social media, posing with youth golf pro Alan Kournikova and Jason Stacey, who coaches tennis star Aryna Sabalenka.
Another snapshot featured Trump smiling alongside Sabalenka after she triumphed over Katie McNally.
It’s uncertain if Vanessa Trump was there with her daughter, although she did post a picture on her Twitter.
The timing of her post was around 2 p.m. Friday, coinciding with Woods’s crash about 100 miles away.
Authorities reported that Woods collided with a utility truck pulling a trailer while trying to evade it, causing his SUV to flip over.
Although unharmed, Woods reportedly seemed to be under the influence of “some type of drug or narcotic.”
He faced charges including drunk driving, criminal damage to property, and refusing a legal test, leading to an eight-hour jail sentence.
Previous reports indicated that neither Vanessa nor Kai Trump were with him during the incident.
The trio, including 11-year-old Chloe Trump, was later seen enjoying Woods’s return to golf at the TGL Finals in Palm Beach.
Vanessa, who is 48 and has five children, has been in a relationship with Woods for over a year. Their romance became public with heartfelt social media posts last March.
